The Foundation is committed to supporting teachers and students in pursuing continuing study of music. We believe that ongoing education for teachers and students benefits all of our members and the community at large.
Teacher Enrichment Grants of up to $500 are offered on an annual basis to support individual or group projects. The deadline for applications is in mid-April and decisions are announced in May. Grants are for projects to be undertaken in the coming fiscal year (June through May) after the April deadline. Applicants must be current members of the AAAPTG. Grants have been provided in the past for private lessons, coursework, workshops and a variety of other projects.
General Assistance Grants
General Assistance Grants are for collaborative projects or community events. Grants are available for up to $500, and can be used to organize masterclasses and/or workshops, provide discount tickets for students to concerts, purchase equipment or services that will support member activities and communication with other chapters.
At this time, the general grant form is under construction and we ask that you use the Teacher Enrichment Grant form for general grant requests.
