Rebecca Biber holds Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in music education from the University of Michigan. She has taught middle school band, fifth grade general music, and recorder. After leaving public school teaching, Rebecca established a private studio for piano and flute lessons. She has fifteen years’ experience as a private instructor and works with 35 students each week, ranging in age from five to seventy-five. Besides serving on the Foundation board, Rebecca has benefited from a teacher enrichment grant that allowed her to pursue advanced piano studies. She has also taught at and co-directed the Mostly Music Camp. Rebecca hopes to continue helping the Foundation to raise funds for worthy students in need; teachers who want to continue their professional development; and outstanding students who earn scholarships at the annual Awards competition.
